Sarah's gorgeous book design legitimized me as an author...
I have always had a love of art and passion for design. I would spend hours pouring over my mother's Architectural Digest magazines and create floor plans with legos. I'd even cut fabric out of her discontinued fabric books and create custom interiors for my Barbies, utilizing beautiful hardcover books as art! Graphic Design happened by accident as a way to complete an interior design+fine art degree...but I found that I loved working with type and my doodles began to have purpose. While interiors still hold a special place in my heart - I LOVE collaborating with authors+business owners to create artful visuals that bring their gifts to the world. It's an incredible privilege to be trusted with such an honor. And I do it all from our family home, (or poolside thanks to the eternal Texas summers), outside of Austin.

My husband and I GET to raise our 3 awesome kids - right now we are learning how to navigate parenting a junior higher, dying to our flesh on the sidelines watching 10U football, and nurturing a strong-willed, independent but incredibly sweet 7 (going-on-15) year old second grader. There's been nothing sweeter than seeing them grow into the people God has made them to be. We love game nights, mountain bikes, family hikes and Jesus. For years I would hide that I worked from home, but the pandemic changed the stigma and the freedom it brought to me to be able to create the boundaries around raising my family have actually leveled up my game. When I've invested in a project, I'm all in.
