Hi I’m Sarah!

Graphic Design happened by accident as a way to complete an interior design+fine art degree...but I found that I loved working with type and my doodles began to have purpose. While interiors still hold a special place in my heart - I LOVE collaborating with authors+business owners to create artful visuals that bring their gifts to the world. It's an incredible privilege to be trusted with such an honor. And I do it all from our family home, (or poolside thanks to the eternal Texas summers), outside of Austin.  

I bring 18 years of expertise to the table, specializing in book design + consulting, print design, identity branding, and custom pieces for the home. I’ve spent 14 of these years primarily in the publishing industry with seasoned authors/speakers as well as many first-time authors. I’ve also worked with a few smaller publishing houses and book brokers. I’ve been involved in all aspects of publishing from book design to marketing. I love being a part of the entire project. This is what truly sets me apart. I walk an author from start to finish from manuscript to launch, creating a beautifully cohesive look to all aspects of an author’s message. This isn’t achieved by going to one designer who may only do the book jacket and a quick stop to get a run-of-the-mill interior laid out. From the book cover, interior styling, eBook conversion, and social media collateral — my authors receive a stunning, coordinated book package.

I work intuitively - an eye for aesthetics is sewn into the deepest part of my being. I’ve tried to do other things, but working creatively in some form or another has always won out. And now I’ve had the privilege of working passionately, doing something I love, for most of my adult life. I don’t take this for granted. I would love the privilege to uplevel your brand, package your message, and help you steward your gift to the world!

ON THE PERSONAL SIDE

My husband and I GET to raise our 3 awesome kids - right now we are learning how to navigate parenting a junior higher, dying to our flesh on the sidelines watching 9-year-olds play football, and nurturing a strong-willed, independent but incredibly sweet 6-going-on-16-year-old first grader. There's been nothing sweeter than seeing them grow into the people God has made them to be. We love game nights, mountain bikes, family hikes and Jesus. For years I would hide that I worked from home, but the pandemic changed the stigma and the freedom it brought to me to be able to create the boundaries around raising my family have actually leveled up my game. When I've invested in a project, I'm all in.
